Open-Faced Turkey Devonshire Sandwich Recipe

This Turkey Devonshire Sandwich is a Pittsburgh classic recipe with turkey, bacon, fresh tomato, and cheesy cream sauce on top of thick toast. It’s an easy dinner idea that the whole family will love!

Ingredients needed:

Make a roux with the butter and flour in a skillet over medium heat. 

Gradually whisk in the milk to make the sauce base. 

Add in the seasonings and fold in the cheese. 

Add the Worcestershire and Tabasco (if using).

Toast the bread and turkey. Layer the fresh tomatoes. 

Top with more cheese sauce and crispy bacon.
